Forge & Forge procures raw materials from pre-approved, reputable steel mills. Material is obtain in various sizes in the form of cast billets, blooms and rolled billets as per the requirements of the final product. All materials are checked for quality on acceptance from the supplier. They are then stored separately based upon their type and marked with colour codes so as to facilitate full traceability and to avoid material mix-ups.Raw materials are cut with the help of shearing machines and band-saw machines. Each piece is colour coded after it is cut and then stacked separately with a banner fixed over each stack so as to identify the materials grade and also the final product that they are associated with.
